Otero County Economic
Development Council, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that was founded in 1982. The mission
of OCEDC is to assist in the creation of jobs, diversity and stability
for the citizens of Otero County. The all volunteer Board of Directors
consists of 15 individuals interested in economic development from all
walks of life private business, government, education, military, etc.
OCEDC's
location at the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce, since 1996, has provided
a "one stop" location to gather information about businesses in Alamogordo,
answer inquiries about opening / relocating / expanding businesses, and
other economic information such as demographics, taxes, rules and regulations,
etc.
