Frontier Village

OTERO COUNTY FAIR & RODEO / FRONTIER VILLAGE

Held annually in August

Frontier Village is that part of the County Fair where the games, amusements and food booths are held. Numerous service clubs and organizations in our community sponsor food and/or game booths.  All of their proceeds go back into the community through donations to various causes. Bennett’s Amusements will be back again this year with their carnival rides for all ages.

Take time to participate in all of the varied activities that are associated with the County Fair. In addition to the food and amusements, there are animals to view, an animal auction to benefit the 4H kids who have raised the animals, rodeos, music contests, demonstrations, art displays, canning, baking & sewing displays and contests. Fair books outlining all activities are available at the Fair Office adjacent to the fair grounds and at the Aubrey Dunn, Sr. Visitors Center.
