Try the BEST New Mexico Wines!
The Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce is hosting our first Annual Wine Festival over Saint Patrick’s Day Weekend. We are very pleased to be able to bring some of the best wineries from all of over New Mexico, to Alamogordo.
The festival will commence at 12:00PM and end at 6:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday (March 16th and 17th, 2019). The wine festival will take place at the Otero County Fairgrounds Pavillion.
On March 18th we invite you to join us at the Flickinger Center for our BYOBallot event regarding the passage of the SB-9. We will go over the correct way to fill out your ballot to ensure that your vote will count! All too often people vote, yet their ballots get thrown away because they were submitted incorrectly.
Our Executive Director, GB Oliver, and Alamogordo Public Schools Superintendent, Jerrett Perry, will also be in attendance to speak on this very important election.
The Public School Capital Improvements Tax – also known as SB-9 or the two-mill levy, provides an ongoing source of funding to pay for routine school maintenance and small construction projects. These projects protect the taxpayers’ investment in our buildings and assure they are safe, functional places for teaching and learning. (Please see the ballot question for a more specific list.) School districts must ask voters to reauthorize the tax every six years.
Voting for the renewal SB-9 will not raise your taxes.

FYI- some of the required responses needs some editing. Question "How many full time and part time do you currently have" only accepts answers of 0.
Also the question "how long do you predict it will take your business to return to your revenue" should let us answer in short text. For some it will be months, others will be years. It's hard to answer that question in only a number
I live in Albuquerque and the leaders here do not care about our small business community. Thank you for caring about yours.
