Shop Small Passport to Christmas
Small Business Saturday® (SBS) was created in 2010 by American Express® to support local shops that make our communities strong. Small Business Saturday is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to shop small and bring more holiday shopping to small Businesses.
In an effort to encourage our local community to shop small in Otero County, the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce, Alamogordo MainStreet, Small Business Development Center and the City of Alamogordo have partnered to create “Shop Small Passport to Christmas”. This event will start on SBS, Nov. 30th, and run until Christmas Eve, December 24th , 2019.
In order for a shopper to be eligible to win the grand prize worth $500, they must:
- Ask a staff member for a stamp on one of the empty squares in their passport
- Collect at least 10 stamps
- Complete the back page of the passport with their personal information
Once Shoppers have received at least 10 stamps, they may turn their booklet in to any one of the three locations listed below.
- 10 Stamps will grant ONE ticket into the raffle
- 15 stamps will grant TWO tickets into the raffle
- If all 20 stamps are received, that will grant FIVE tickets into the raffle!
The grand prize winner will receive $200 cash and at least $300 worth of gifts!
